Stewards Meet Union Leadership P resident Jacques Loveall, Secretary-Treasurer Michael Tursky and Senior Executive Vice President Kirk Vogt were among the leaders of UFCW 8 who met with stewards from Mono, Kern and Inyo Counties in Bakersfield on Oct. 28 and 29.The meetings
featured a PowerPoint presentation introducing
the staff and leadership of UFCW 8 and
providing highlights and facts
about the union. Topics for
discussion also included the fight against Walmart,
the importance of health care reform and passage
of the Employee Free Choice Act, among others relating
to health benefits and pensions. | |
